Dale, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Receives Nurse Excellence Award

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Dale has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Nurse Excellence Award.

“My job is not a job to me. It's a calling and a mission," Dale explains.

He is an alumnus of both Southeastern Louisiana University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where he earned a master's degree in nursing.

He lives in Denham Springs with his wife Vicki and their daughters, 16-year-old Alexis and 11-year-old Abigail.

Dale values family time and enjoys the outdoors, cycling and cheering on the SLU Lions football and baseball teams.

“Dale’s expertise in the most current neonatal intensive care practices helps babies born prematurely or with serious medical conditions have the best possible start in life," asserts Kimberly Woods, Director of Women & Children's Services at North Oaks Medical Center. "He works tirelessly and compassionately to be there for each infant’s family, keeping them as informed and involved in their son or daughter’s care as possible.”
