Robin, a Speech Pathologist and Quality Assessment Liaison for Rehabilitation
Services, has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Employee
of the Month Award for September 2015.
"Seeing patients make progress gives me purpose," Robin shares.
Robin joined North Oaks in 2003 as a Speech Pathologist and became a Quality
Assessment Liaison in 2012. In this role, she helps to monitor, measure
and identify ways to improve how we care for rehabilitation patients.
She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg
with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Southeastern
Louisiana University in Hammond with a master’s degree in Communication
Sciences and Disorders.
Robin lives in Denham Springs with her husband Dean and John Curtis, their
4-year-old son.
She enjoys family time, as well as teaching Sunday school and singing
with the choir and praise team of Jefferson Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
