If you don’t have insurance, you may qualify for Medicaid.
The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals has expanded Medicaid
coverage, effective July 1, 2016. The state estimates that as many as
450,000 adults will be eligible for the benefits. And, you could be included
in this number if you are between the ages of 19-64 and have a limited
income. (See chart below.)
If you already receive SNAP (food stamp) benefits, you may be able to express
enroll with no application needed.

- In Person – Application assistance sites. North Oaks is one of the

the application process.
