Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician
Julie Ann Larson, MD, has joined
North Oaks Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic.
Dr. Larson earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of
Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and performed an Internal Medicine internship
at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and an internship in
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kansas University Medical Center
in Kansas City. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation.
“I am passionate about helping my patients achieve their best quality
of life after injury, illness or other disabling conditions. I find it
important to take time with all of my patients to identify the source
of their complaints, set realistic goals and help them find relief from
their pain,” states Dr. Larson.
Dr. Larson practices with
Dong Sik Cho, MD, and Nurse Practitioner Vyrl Traylor at North Oaks Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation Clinic. The physicians and staff specialize in the diagnosis
and treatment of illnesses or injuries affecting movement and work to
improve performance without surgery.
They are experts in treating brain and spinal cord injuries, stroke, arthritis,
carpal tunnel syndrome and neck and back pain. Dr. Larson sees patients,
ages 18 and older.
The clinic is located at 2101 Robin Avenue, Suite 14 in Hammond.
