Clinical Practice Facilitator/Charge Nurse Brittani has been honored with
the North Oaks Health System Nurse Excellence Award.
"Nursing has given me so much more than I could ever give back,”
Brittani shares.
In 2013, Brittani joined North Oaks as a Telemetry Unit Staff RN. In 2014,
she became a Hospital Medicine Program Nurse and returned to the Telemetry
Unit in 2015 as a Staff RN and Preceptor mentoring new staff. This September,
Brittani became Clinical Practice Facilitator/Charge Nurse for the Telemetry
and Rapid Diagnosis Treatment Units.
As Chairman of the Nursing Shared Governance Clinical Quality Council,
Brittani assists with the hospital’s efforts to improve patient outcomes.
She graduated from Delgado Community College Charity School of Nursing
in New Orleans.
Brittani hails from Ponchatoula, where she lives with her husband Stephen
and their 6-month-old son Finn.
Away from work, Brittani can be often be found gardening, decorating or
boating with family and friends.
"The ease with which Brittani is able to learn and master new processes
and then teach others stands out among her many attributes. She puts her
heart and soul into supporting our patients, their families and her coworkers," affirms
