What’s important to you in terms of wellness and health care? What’s
your vision for your local health care system? What has been your experience
with North Oaks Health System? Is North Oaks fulfilling its mission to
“improve lives every time and with every touch?” Are there
any areas where North Oaks is falling short of your expectations?
The North Oaks
Board of Commissioners and
President/CEO Michele Sutton invite community members to explore these questions and more at a town
hall forum on Wednesday, May 10, in conjunction with National Hospital
Week. The forum will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. in the E. Brent Dufreche
Conference Center, located within North Oaks Diagnostic Center at 15837
Paul Vega, MD, Drive in Hammond. While registration is not required, seating
is limited.
A brief update on recent activities at the health system will be given
at the forum with the majority of the forum’s agenda reserved to
answer questions from the public. Community members are invited to submit
questions by Sunday, April 30, via email to
CEOFeedback@northoaks.org or via mail to CEO Feedback, North Oaks Health System, P.O. Box 2668,
Hammond, Louisiana 70404. Submissions should include your full name, daytime
phone number and email address. Questions also will be taken from the
floor during the forum. All questions and answers will be published after
the forum on the health system's website with the exception of questions
pertaining to patient care or billing, which will be addressed privately
to protect confidentiality.
“When I accepted the position of president/CEO, I pledged to uphold
the organizational values of compassion, courtesy, commitment and communication
on which we have built our success,” Sutton shares. “To fulfill
this promise, I am encouraging open communication and collaboration with
the community. Hosting town hall forums is one way we plan to achieve
this goal.”
This is the first of two town hall forums planned for 2017.
