The National Weather Service advises hazardous driving conditions tonight
through Saturday morning. As a result, walk-in clinics in Hammond, Ponchatoula
and Walker will reopen at
noon, Saturday, Dec. 9. North Oaks administration is closely monitoring weather conditions and
will provide updates as needed on www.northoaks.org and on the Information
Line at (985) 230-4636

UPDATE....EMERGENCY ROAD CONDITIONS -- The highrise portion of I-55 at
Manchac Bridge has ice on the roadway.
The elevated portion of I-55 between Ponchatoula (Tangipahoa Parish) and
LaPlace (St. John the Baptist Parish) currently has ice on the roadway.
Motorists are advised to stay off the roadways at this time, but if necessary,
the low road is open.
