North Oaks Physician Group will reopen its
Primary Care Clinic in Denham Springs on Monday, March 1. The clinic, which specializes in
comprehensive health care for children (ages 2+) and adults, has been
temporarily closed since August 2016 to repair flood damage. For appointments

Nurse Practitioner
April Kluka McIntyre of Springfield will join local Family Medicine Physician
Brandi Basso, MD, in practice at the clinic. They both specialize in personalized diagnosis
and treatment of medical conditions for adults and children through regular
check-ups, immunizations, screenings, preventive medicine and education
on disease management and prevention.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Basso has nearly
a decade of experience serving the health care needs of Livingston Parish.
Basso earned a medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean
School of Medicine in St. Maarten, and completed a residency and internship
through Baton Rouge General Family Medicine.
McIntyre comes to the practice from North Oaks Primary Care Clinic in Livingston,
where she has been seeing patients since March 2016.
Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, McIntyre earned
both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nursing as a Family
Nurse Practitioner from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.
North Oaks Primary Care Clinic in Denham Springs is located at 31839 LA
