Cath Lab Manager Carolyn has received North Oaks Health System's Leader
of the Month Award for February 2018.
"I put my heart into my work," Carolyn shares.
Carolyn joined the North Oaks team in 1997 as a Telemetry Unit Staff Registered
Nurse (RN). In 2003, she became a Radiology RN and transferred to the
Recovery Room as a Staff RN in 2004. She became a Cath Lab RN in 2007
and was promoted to Cath Lab Nursing Supervisor that same year. In 2009,
she began working as a Staff Development Specialist RN and accepted her
current position of Cath Lab Manager in 2010.
Carolyn earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana
University. She belongs to the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography
and Interventions.
Carolyn lives in Amite with her husband Greg.
She enjoys traveling and the outdoors. Most of all, she cherishes family
time with Greg, their daughter, Jill, and grandchildren – Liam,
4, and Haysen, 2.
