Staff Development Manager Caresa has received North Oaks Health System's
Leader of the Month Award for September 2018.

"My team and I are dedicated to ensuring that staff have access to
educational resources necessary to continue developing their patient care
expertise," shares Caresa.
In 2008, Caresa joined the Education team as a Staff Development Specialist.
She was promoted to Staff Development Manager in 2010.
Caresa graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor’s
degree in Nursing.
“I chose a career in Nursing because I was always driven to help
others – whether they were ill, feeling down or just needing to
talk through a situation,” she explains.
Caresa and her husband Brett live in Watson with their daughters –
Kailyn, 13; and Hailey, 11.
Fishing with her family, crafting and baking are her favorite pastimes.
She is a member of the Association for Nursing Professional Development.
