Operational Strategist Karin has received the North Oaks Health System
Employee of the Month Award for September 2019.
From 1992 to 2000, Karin worked as an Attendant for North Oaks' childcare
center. In 2001, she returned as a Marketing Strategist after earning
a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University
followed by a master's in Business Administration. From 2004 to 2011,
she put her data analysis and project management skills to use as a Marketing
Analyst. In 2011, she transferred to Administration as an Operation Decision
Support Analyst and then to the Health & Business Analytics Department
in 2016 as an Operational Strategist.
"Helping to ensure systems operate efficiently is my niche,"
Karin shares.
A native of Germany, she resides in Ponchatoula with her husband Curtis
and their children, 17-year-old Mia and 15-year-old Bentley.
Away from work, Karin cherishes time with family. She also enjoys traveling,
cooking and gardening.
Karin’s vast organizational knowledge, technical expertise and superb
project management skills have led to the success of many mission-driven
projects," affirms Health & Business Analytics Director Kevin
Fussell. "She is a creative problem solver who goes above and beyond
to help others design and implement increasingly complex systems and processes.
