If you have questions about North Oaks or the future of health care in
Louisiana, make plans to attend the health system’s town hall forum
Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 5:30-7 p.m. Hosted by the
North Oaks Board of Commissioners and President/Chief Executive Officer Michele Sutton, the forum will take
place in the E. Brent Dufreche Conference Center, located within
North Oaks Diagnostic Center at 15837 Paul Vega, MD, Drive in Hammond. While registration is not required,
seating is limited.
Since assuming the role of president and chief executive officer in January
2017, Sutton has encouraged open collaboration and communication with
the community. In this spirit, Sutton plans to provide a brief update
on new physicians and services, as well as information on the health system’s
new Council of Patient and Family Advisors.
The majority of the forum, however, will be dedicated to answering questions
from the floor, as well as questions emailed in advance to
CEOFeedback@northoaks.org or mailed to CEO Feedback, P.O. Box 2668, Hammond, LA 70404.
“We want to know what’s important to our friends and neighbors,”
Sutton explains. “All questions are welcome, with the exception
of those pertaining to specific patient care or billing issues. Those
will be addressed privately to protect confidentiality.”
After the forum, all questions and answers will be posted to www.northoaks.org.
This is the second of two town hall forums scheduled for 2017. The first
forum was held May 10, 2017.
