The Voice's Alexis Marceaux will perform at the community-wide Open
House celebrating North Oaks Medical Center's expansion on Thursday,
Nov. 29 from 5-7 p.m. Marceaux will sing the National Anthem during the
ribbon cutting program from 5-5:30 p.m. and Christmas carols to follow.
Alexis, who recently competed on Season 3 of The Voice, is the daughter
of Christi Marceaux, North Oaks Medical Center's Assistant Vice President

"I am honored to support my mom and the entire North Oaks team. I
love being a part of events that bring communities together," Alexis adds.
The North Oaks Medical Center Community Open House will showcase how the
hospital is taking health care in a new direction with more privacy, the
latest in surgical services technology and expert staff. Following the
ribbon cutting program, guests will be invited to take guided tours of
the hospital's new wing and meet hospital team members. Free health
screenings, refreshments, door prize drawings and family friendly holiday
activities also will be offered.
The hospital expansion houses 95 additional private rooms and will take
the hospital to 330 total patient beds. It also features fourteen high-tech
operating suites, eleven additional same day surgery beds, a surgical
intensive care unit and a customized orthopaedic and neurosurgery floor
complete with a rehabilitation gym.
