North Oaks Physician Group announces the departure of
Dr. Anthony D. Haase III from
North Oaks Primary Care Clinic in Independence effective in January 2018. Haase and his family will be
relocating to Tennessee.
North Oaks Primary Care – Independence, which is located at 230 Masonic
Drive, will remain open following Haase’s departure from 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Patients can continue to schedule appointments
at this location by calling (985) 230-APPT [2778] or (844) APPT-NOW [277-8669].
“Our immediate plans call for other
primary care providers on our team to staff the clinic on a rotating basis,” explains Percival
Kane, chief ambulatory officer for North Oaks Health System. “This
will afford us time in the interim to reassess our options, given Dr.
Haase’s impending departure.”
North Oaks Physician Group also has five primary care clinics within 15
miles of the Independence practice in the cities of Hammond and Ponchatoula
to meet the needs of the community.
“While Dr. Haase will be greatly missed, we respect his decision
to do what is best for his family,” affirms Michele Sutton, president
and chief executive officer of North Oaks Health System. “We will
be forever grateful for the exceptional care that Dr. Haase has provided
patients at our Independence clinic these past six years, and we wish
him continued success in future endeavors.”
