Patient Access Associate Christie has received the North Oaks Health System
Employee of the Month Award for October 2018.
"Listening is important to service," shares Christie.
Christie joined the Patient Access team in 2016. She has worked in numerous
North Oaks facilities in this capacity, including: the Diagnostic Center,
Emergency Room, Livingston Parish Medical Complex, Medical Center and
Surgery Center.
She graduated from the Medical Billing and Coding program of Sanford Brown
College in Dallas, Texas. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in
Leisure Studies with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation from Grambling
State University, where she first became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Christie and her husband Aaron call Hammond home.
Spending time with family, traveling and shopping are favorite pastimes.
She also loves to dance and belongs to the Grambling State University
Alumni Chapter.
