On average, a total of 24 children, age 14 and younger, lose their lives
to drowning in Louisiana each year. Of the 24 total children, fifteen
are between the ages of 1 and 4. This is one of the highest rates in the
US. In this Tangi 96.5 FM "North Oaks Health Notes" segment,
host Johnny Chauvin and
Dr. Farhan Siddiqui of
North Oaks Primary Care in Hammond explain how we all can
"pool safely" by taking simple steps to save lives.
