Dr. Harmanjot K. Grewal has joined
North Oaks Rheumatology in Hammond and is accepting new patients. She is certified by the American
Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and rheumatology. To schedule

Dr. Grewal comes to North Oaks Physician Group from the Louisiana Heart
Hospital Medical Group in Lacombe. Prior experience also includes practicing
with Merit Health Wesley Medical Group in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
As a rheumatologist, Dr. Grewal specializes in the diagnosis and treatment
of various forms of arthritis, including osteoarthritis and gout. She
also treats autoimmune disorders, such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.
“Living with chronic rheumatic disease is a great burden for patients,”
Dr. Grewal points out. “My goal is to make sure my patients are well-informed and have the tools to manage their disease as part of their daily
routine.”
She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas,
located on the West Indies islands of St. Kitts & Nevis. She completed
an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in rheumatology through
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
